Ciutadella Park & Playgrounds

This is Barcelona’s most central park, and in it is a hugely popular playground that could easily take over the entire day if you felt like it. Comprising of three playgrounds, a boating lake, the Barcelona Zoo, two nearby cafés and family-style bike rentals (4–5 seaters) there’s no shortage of enjoyment to be had here. Ciutadella Park & Playgrounds

Montjuïc Castle

Who doesn’t love a good castle? Montjuïc Castle is a great place for kids to explore and for grown-ups to enjoy too. Looking over the city of Barcelona, you can easily access the castle by foot, metro or cable car. There’s a beautiful wooded area nearby which is perfect for a picnic, and the castle’s drawbridge entrance and turrets are sure to keep the kids in awe.
